RWBY x Male Reader What became of it? (Part 2.)

(A/N): Alright this is an action chapter, the longest one so far!  I hope you all enjoy!

Team Rwby was pinned behind a cargo holder while shots ricocheted off of the side of the container

Yang: Holy crap what the hell was that?!

Ruby: Yang! language!

Yang: sorry!

Weiss: Alright… does anyone have a plan that won’t get our heads blown off?

A shot whizzes overhead that strikes a red barrel that catches fire.

Blake: Great, now we’ll be in pieces! Move!

Blake moves from cover wildly firing shots to where she thought the sniper was. This bought the rest of her team time to separate and move to different forms of cover, before  All of a sudden the loudspeakers turn on and a static voice comes through.

(Dark hood); Well then, normally I would give a more open arms welcome. But you ladies have wandered a long way from home haven’t you?

Weiss: Explain your buisness! Who are you?

(Dark Hood): Well hello to you too ice queen. My buisness is none of your concern, but i’m warning you girls. Stay out of my way.

A bullet whizzes by once again striking closer.

(Dark hood): Don’t make me hurt you…

All of a sudden Ruby starts firing her own shots at a rooftop. The rest of the girls take this as a hint as they start firing their own projectiles at the rooftop. In the distance they see a figure jump off the roof and move to the streets.

Ruby: He’s on the move! After him!

Ruby takes off on foot while yang grabs a modified Bumblebee to suit her new “conditions”

Yang: Blake, get on.

Blake complies by hopping on leaving an annoyed Weiss pouting

Weiss: Well do you expect me to WALK there!?

Blake: If you’ve gotten better at summoning than call apon a Nevermore or something. Now let's Move!

Blake and Yang speed off as Weiss just stands there and sighs.

Weiss: Well they do have a point…

Using all of her focus she manages to bring the nevermore she fought at initiation to her will.

Weiss: Well that was easy!

(Meanwhile)

Ruby now taking the high ground starts firing at the man below. He occasionally turned around to pop some shots of his own before getting into a 69 Camaro muscle car and started to take off. Ruby then jumped down and tried to chase him to no avail.

Ruby: Darn it!

Yang and Blake speed by immediately after.

Ruby: Darn IT!!

She pouts just before Nevermore claws pick her up startling her.

Ruby: AHHH!! Where did you come from!? Let me go!

Just then Weiss’ head pops down from above.

Weiss: It’s me you dolt! You’re welcome by the way.

Ruby: Thanks Weiss...

Weiss: Thank you. Now where are they?

As that is occurring, Yang and Blake were hot on the Hood’s tail. Blake occasionally tried to get a shot at his tires but the constant weaving made it difficult. The chase continued down the highways of Vale as Hood tried to get them off of him.

(Dark Hood): Damn! As persistent as ever.

He starts to weave and dodge in traffic causing a mess, but the girls weren't letting up. They sped down the highway until he suddenly steered off the side of the road plummeting to the ground.

Blake: Is he insane?

Yang: No, he’s drawing us down there. Let's oblige…

Yang lead her bike off the highway, parked it and jumped down to where the wreckage was. Hood was waiting for them twirling a knife in his hand boardley in his hand.

(Dark Hood) Ladies…*looks at watch* fashionably late as always.

Yang walks up to him trying to keep her composure before she stops right in front.

(Dark Hood): Mighty close aren't we?

He looks at her once again noticing her one arm.

(Dark Hood): My god what happened to you?

Yang: wouldn’t you like to know…

He looks at her, she could swear heard almost sadness in his voice

(Dark Hood): Don’t do this Yang, in the name of an old friendship.

Yang: How the hell do yo-

(Dark Hood): Lets just say a certain boy knew everything about you girls. The same one who was lost in the southside explosion incident.

After hearing this Yang’s eyes turned Red and she tensed up before shouting

Yang: You bastard! What did you do to him!

He laughed and simply said

(Dark Hood): What didn't they do?

This sent her over as she let a punch at him, but he simply tripped her and swiftly inserted something into her gauntlet. She got up more pissed than ever and tried to launch a blast….Her gauntlet began to pulse and send a non lethal shock current through her, effectively knocking her out. The Hood simply shook his head in disappointment

(Dark Hood): You never did learn….

He looks up at Blake, whose hands are trembling as she glared at him. He slowly walks towards her as she fires a shot missing.

Blake: S-stay back!

He keeps walking. She swings her sword at him as he sidesteps and grabs her wrist.

(Dark Hood): Blake… Don’t make this difficult…

She tries to swing at him with her free hand but he catches it. She uses her semblance to break away and lifts Yang’s arm over her shoulder.

(Dark Hood) *Sigh* Fine. But as parting knowledge….Adam won't ever bother you, or the rest of your friends again.

Blake stops dead in her tracks and turns around.

Blake: W-what?

(Dark Hood): I’ll make sure he won’t go anywhere near you, just stay out of my way. This is your final warning.

He starts to walk away but says something that rocks Blake to her core.

(Dark Hood): Make sure to drop by a copy of NoL for me will ya?

Tears leak from her eyes as she moves Yang to a safe place.

(Meanwhile)

After the encounter with Blake, Weiss caught sight of The Hood and moved in. She dropped Ruby on top of a building.

Weiss: Cover me from here, i’m going in

Ruby: With pleasure!

Weiss jumped from her summoned being and landed in front of Dark Hood.

Weiss: End of the line! Now turn yourself in to pay for your crimes!

He seemed unfazed by this as he simply walked past her

(Dark Hood): So, how’s the singing career going?

Weiss grew irritated and launched an ice projectile at him which he simply dodged.

Weiss: Don’t ignore me! Do you know who I am.

(Dark Hood): You know, i don’t remember you girls all being this stubborn!

He turns around and fires rounds at her forcing her to bring up an ice shield. The gunfire ceased and he pulls out his knife.

(Dark Hood): All right Ice queen, i’m a fair man.

She lowers her shield and prepares to attack
(Dark Hood): Let’s dance!

Weiss lunges at him as he blocks her rapier with his knife while trying to give her a kick. Weiss uses her glyphs to shift backwards throwing him off balance and leaving an opening. She jumps forward again while simultaneously trapping his foot in ice. However, before the ice could harden he used the blade to cut free and deliver a devastating kick sending her flying. She struggles to get up as he tosses the knife in his hand tauntingly.

(Dark Hood): We could always take a breather ya know?

She scowls and lunges once again to only have herself disarmed and a knife to her throat. It was so unexpected that she could only let out a confused gasp.

(Dark Hood):Good dance then.

He lets her go and she seems to have fainted from the shock. All of a sudden a high pitched voice could be heard followed by a sniper shot.

Ruby: WEISS!!!

Knowing what to do he started to run into the shopping district of Vale, while dodging shots from Ruby. He then crashed through the window of a dust shop run by an old man who seemed surprised to say the least.

(Dark Hood): I suggest running, it’s gonna get chaotic in a minute

The old man complies ans as soon as he leaves Hood shoots out the lights. Ruby comes in a second after holding her scythe at the ready. She all of a sudden sees him at the end of an aisle reading a magazine.

(Dark Hood): Funny where you end up where you started sometimes eh?

Ruby didn’t move, her determined look holding despite the circumstances.

(Dark Hood): This was the place where you begun your journey. *He closes the magazine* Don’t let it end Red.

Ruby: Why are you doing this? Who are you?

Ruby pleaded to know as he simply shrugged and turned around.

(Dark Hood): you girls are smart. You’ll figure it out.

Ruby used this opportunity to try and knock Hood out but he blocked her Scythe with his knife. He then swiftly grabbed her by the wrist and Judo threw her. She landed with a crack and an OOF. She tried to get up and failed. She stared at the ceiling as he walked out of the store his last words being.

(Dark Hood): Remember at Beacon Ruby, first impressions are everything…

Then he was gone
